About Me
Giuliana Chilczuk
MS, LMFT
My desire to become a therapist wasn’t realized until after I graduated with my undergraduate degree. I always knew I wanted a career in which I helped people navigate their different chapters of life. Looking back I realized the idea of becoming a therapist was studded throughout my personal journey.
From being raised in an immigrant household, to being the oldest of four, being heavily involved in athletics from a young age, to then transitioning into high level collegiate athletic and then transitioning out of elite athletics. From competing in recreational leagues to Division 1 championship stages and national level stages, I understand the demands of all ranges of athletics and the toll it can take on individuals and their loved ones. All of these experiences led me to this career of therapy and coaching.
One of the most influential memories I have that guided me into this career was during my time as collegiate athlete. In seeking out help from our sports psychologist, I quickly realized as an athlete I was seen as my ability to perform. I knew in that moment that I wanted a way to help athletes navigate their careers and lives in a holistic way that looks at all parts of them rather than only one.
As individuals, we balance so many different parts of ourselves. These parts intertwine and influence one another as well as the relationships we hold within our lives. It's important to understand how all those parts work together in order to live a more fulfilling life.
When I’m not working with my clients I enjoy spending time with my family and husband. You can also find me at my local yoga studio, running, taking my vizsla for hikes and cycling.
